
I’ve always loved all things organization and planning – my friends used to tease me in high school for needing not one, but two diaries to plan my days. I’ve also always been creative, and after school I went to Victoria University, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production and Creative Writing.
WHY me?
I spent a couple years as a retail manager, loving both the customer service, and the operational management. I wanted to marry that with my creative skills, story-telling, and dreaming. My combined skills in these two areas confirmed for me that my dream job was event planning, and I completed an Advanced Diploma in Wedding and Event planning from the New Zealand Academy of Wedding and Event Planning.
I’ve been in the event industry for over four years. I am supremely organized, creative, goal-orientated, and above all, passionate. My experience is broad and varied, ranging from weddings, to industry conferences, to art shows, to large-scale fundraising events, and even to half marathons! I can craft you a budget, draw you a floorplan, write up your runsheet and negotiate with your vendors. I can help with design, entertainment and social media, and appear beside you on the day with the safety pin you didn’t know you’d need.
